Cookie Policy
General information
Following the entry into force of the amendment to the Spanish “Information Society Services Act” (LSSICE) established by Royal Decree 13/2012, it is mandatory to obtain the express consent of the user of all websites that use non-essential cookies before they browse them.
What are cookies?
Cookies and other similar technologies such as local shared objects, flash cookies or pixels are tools used by web servers to store and retrieve information about their visitors, as well as to ensure the correct operation of the site.
These devices allow the web server to remember certain data about the user, such as their preferences for viewing the pages of that server, name and password, the products they are most interested in, etc.
Cookies covered by the regulations and exempted cookies
According to the EU directive, the cookies that require the informed consent of the user are analytics, advertising and affiliate cookies; technical cookies and those necessary for the operation of the website or the provision of services expressly requested by the user are exempt.
What types of cookies are there?
By ownership
- First-party cookies: those sent to the user’s terminal equipment from a computer or domain managed by the publisher itself and from which the service requested by the user is provided.
- Third-party cookies: those sent to the user’s terminal equipment from a computer or domain that is not managed by the publisher, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.
By duration
- Session cookies: a type of cookie designed to collect and store data while the user is accessing a website.
- Persistent cookies: a type of cookie in which the data remain stored on the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the party responsible for the cookie, which may range from a few minutes to several years.
By purpose
- Necessary cookies: those essential for the correct operation of the website. They do not collect any user data and store information such as language preference, whether the cookie policy has been accepted, etc.
- Analytics cookies: those which, whether processed by us or by third parties, allow us to quantify the number of users and thus measure and statistically analyse how users use the service offered. To do so, your browsing on our website is analysed in order to improve the range of products or services we offer.
- Advertising or marketing cookies: those that allow the most efficient management possible of the advertising spaces that the publisher may have included on a website, application or platform from which the requested service is provided, based on criteria such as the content published or the frequency with which ads are shown.
- Behavioural advertising or personalised marketing cookies: those that allow the most efficient management possible of the advertising spaces that the publisher may have included on a website, application or platform from which the requested service is provided. These cookies store information on user behaviour obtained through continuous observation of browsing habits, which makes it possible to develop a specific profile to display advertising based on it. It is also possible that, when visiting a website or opening an email in which an advertisement or promotion about our products or services is published, a cookie is installed in your browser that allows us to subsequently show you advertising related to the search you have made, and to monitor our advertisements in relation to, for example, the number of times they are seen, where they appear, at what time they are seen, etc.
